National Scholarship Program

Must be a Canadian secondary school student intending to begin university the following academic year; Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person who demonstrates superior academic performance, original and creative thought, and exceptional achievement in a broad context.

Walker Wood Foundation Scholarship in Science

To be awarded to an incoming full-time Canadian student entering their first year of study in the sciences who graduated from a high school in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or outside of the Greater Toronto Area on the basis of financial need and involvement in extra-curricular activities (including, but not limited to: music, leadership, community work).

Hugh Innis Strang Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to graduates of Goderich C.I. entering any first-entry program at the University of Toronto. Selection is based on academic standing, financial need and school activities.

Ontario Hockey Association War Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a student who is a descendent of one who has served in the Canadian forces. Proof of service in the forces is required.

Scholars and Students At Risk Award Program

The Scholars at Risk Award Program was established in response to the Syrian crisis which highlighted the growing refugee population worldwide.

The award is open to refugee students on admission to the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need.

John McCrae Scholarship

Awarded to a student from Guelph C. I. with the highest average on entrance to U of T. Financial need may be taken into account.

Roberts Scholarship

To be awarded on admission to an outstanding student enrolled in a science program within the Faculty of Arts and Science on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to students from the Peel Region and/or a student registered in Victoria College.

Barkley's of Avonmore Bursary

To be awarded to a graduate of Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School entering Arts and Science on the basis of academic merit and financial need. In the absence of a suitable candidate from Cornwall, students from high schools in the counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry will be considered.

Danielle Sandhu Leadership Award

To be awarded to an undergraduate student who has self-identified with mental health challenges (registration with Accessibility Services is not required). Recipient will be determined on the basis of academic excellence and demonstrated leadership in the University and/or broader community. Leadership can be broadly defined in terms of any social, academic, and volunteer experience in the University or in the community.
