Kordellas-Tripp Foundation Awards

There are two separate awards, one for engineering students, the other for nursing students.  Awarded to students on the basis of need and a personal statement that outlines the student’s views on how society should function so humanist values are honoured.

Eric Waldron Scholarship Award 2018

This scholarship is provided to a student with cerebral palsy who is a current Lifetime Member of OFCP and who is enrolled in an Ontario College or University and who has completed his or her first year of instruction at University or College.  Course transcripts including marks are required.  Applicants must be residents of Ontario.

To be awarded to an undergraduate student who has self-identified with mental health challenges (registration with Accessibility Services is not required). Recipient will be determined on the basis of academic excellence and demonstrated leadership in the University and/or broader community. Leadership can be broadly defined in terms of any social, academic, and volunteer experience in the University or in the community.

Engineers Canada Scholarships

To be eligible to apply, candidates must be:

  • registered for a minimum of two full-time semesters for the upcoming academic year (i.e. between September 2019 and August 2020)
  • registered as an engineer (P.Eng.) / ingénieur (ing.) in good standing with one of the provincial or territorial engineering regulatory bodies
  • a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada

The Living City Foundation Awards

To qualify, students must:

  • Be enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma program during the 2018-2019 academic year
  • Be completing post-secondary studies in a field that relates broadly to the work of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).

    Examples of eligible programs include: Environmental Studies, Landscape Architecture, Archaeology, Museum Studies, Forestry, and Civil Engineering.
