French Baccalaureate

Minimum Admission Requirement: Baccalauréat/Baccalauréat Genéral.  Anglais completed in the final/terminale year is required for all programs.

Prerequisites:

  • Anglais completed in both the première and terminale years is required for all programs.
  • Spécialité Mathematics completed in both the première and terminale years will satisfy the Calculus prerequisite.  Mathématiques Expertes is also recommended for applicants to programs in Engineering
  • Spécialité Mathematics (première only) or Math complémentaires will satisfy the Advanced Functions prerequisite.
  • Spécialité SVT (Sciences de la vie et de la Terre) completed in première only, or, in première + terminale will satisfy the Biology prerequisite.
  • Spécialité Physique-Chimie completed in première, or, in première + terminale will satisfy the Physics and/or Chemistry prerequisite for admission to arts/science programs. Applicants to programs in Engineering must present Physique-Chimie in premiere and terminale.

Mathématiques Expertes is also recommended in the Terminale year for admission to U of T Engineering programs. Refer to the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering for admission requirements for Engineering programs.
